Human hands are difficult things to draw, and like the old masters, I try to draw by careful observation of the fundementals.
I was inspired by a figure from Todd McFarlane that had a very interesting pose and shape. I just had to draw it, so I set a stage and drew the figure in perspective with my own additions and subtractions, hopefully yielding something new.
As part of a future demo project, I wanted to design my own generic character that I could test weapons on. I would model the character in 3-D, texture and rig it, then use it to demo special effects and weapon effects (both as the tester and the target).
